The National Academy of Sciences is the leading source of trusted, independent advice on issues of science and technology in the United States. I worked with the Board on Science Education to develop consensus reports on current topics in science education.

 

 

As a Mirzayan fellow at the National Academy of Sciences, I spent 12 weeks learning about science and technology policy, and the role that scientists and engineers play in advising the nation. During and after the fellowship, I worked with two committees of esteemed science education researchers to develop consensus studies on:

• Designing Citizen Science to Support Learning

• Updating America's Lab Report: Engaging Middle and High School Students in Investigations
